Description:
The MiniTest Ultrasonic 406 is an extremely robust hand-held ultrasonic thickness gauge designed for non-destructive, quick and accurate measurements of wall thickness of steel and other metals as well as glass, ceramics, homogeneous plastics, etc. Measurements can be taken on flat as well as curved surfaces.
The all metal construction, sealed membrane keypad and weather tight gaskets allow these gauges to withstand even the most extreme work environments. The multifunction 4.5 digit LCD display offers a generous ½ inch numeric display with backlight which can be activated as needed.
Measurements are displayed in inches, inches/microseconds, millimeters and meters/second. Measuring resolution is 0.001 inches (0.01 millimeters).
These units utilize Dual-element transducers from 1 to 10 MHz frequency range and are supplied with a generous 4 foot cable and feature locking quick disconnect LEMO connectors.
