Description:
Measures cork stopper extraction forces. The ExtraLab Portable easily and accurately measures cork extraction forces by using a corkscrew. To facilitate its transport, the size in height can be reduced to about half. Optionally it can be provided with an aluminium transport case. It was developed to meet the needs of technical and sales staff of cork enterprises and wineries in shop floor control and also as laboratory equipment. The cork extraction is done by using a corkscrew, which should be manually inserted into the cork. The maximum cork extraction force reading is done by a Mecmesin BFG 1000N force gauge, with great accuracy and the ability to store maximum values. Besides reading the values from the force gauge display, the user has the option to connect it to a PC and import the values into a windows software application.
